There are hundreds upon hundreds of enamel varieties, and depending on how they are fired, what temperature, for how long etc, they can even produce different colours and effects! So I spend much of my time sourcing different enamels, sometimes finding discontinued or antique colours which can be pretty special. And then I make samples. Samples on silver, on copper, different layering techniques, over firing, under firing, to see how the enamel reacts. This is why I have a lot of one of a kind pieces, I love to experiment! Here are some warm peachy tests from enamels I have collected.
