BESPOKE FAQ

A variety of precious gemstones in stock in the studio

How does the process work?

From start to finish I am here to guide you to ensure together we make something you absolutely love. You can read further about the design process here.

What can I expect during a bespoke appointment?
The appointments are designed to draw out your dreams for this special piece. I have some questions to guide us, and we can look at my designs and the gemstones I have in the studio as inspiration. I'll guide you through metal selection and help you choose the most suitable gemstones for your piece. I'm always happy to answer any of your jewellery questions.

How long will it take?
The design process can vary, as my only goal is to ensure I make you something you will cherish. Once we have a final design, the sourcing and making can take 6-10 weeks. If you have a particular date in mind, I can work with your needs.

What if I'm interstate and international?
We can consult virtually! I will send you lot's of photos and videos of pieces to help visually aide the design process.

Can you provide an independant valuation certificate?
I recommend having an independent valuation certificate made if you wish to insure your piece. I can organise this for you.

Where are the gemstones sourced?
I source all of my gemstones from trusted local and international gem merchants, collectors and gem cutters. I can happily source traceable gemstones for you.

What metals do you use?
I work with yellow, white and rose gold in 9ct, 14ct and 18ct and sterling silver. All of the metal I work with is sustainably sourced, as it is 100% recycled and refined, which means not supporting new mining.

Can you remodel my jewellery?
This is not a service I provide currently.

Can I use my own gemstones?
Not all gemstones are suitable for all types of jewellery, so I only work with gemstones I have sourced specifically for each job.

Can you re-use my metal?
I do not work with clients metal.
